E. Coli Contamination Prompts General Mills to Announce Recall of Frozen Pizzas
November 1 , 2007—General Mills announced it was recalling nearly five million frozen pizzas sold under the brands Totino's and Jeno's following reports that the pepperoni on the pizzas may be contaminated with E. coli.
At least nine people have become ill since July 20th after eating Totino's or Jeno's frozen pizza with pepperoni.
The pizza recall includes eight types of Totino's frozen pizza and three types of Jeno's pizza.
